Representative Janna Taylor was elected to her first term in 2004. During the 2005 legislative session she was a member of the House Appropriations Committee and the Legislative Audit Committee during the interim.

The City of Polson is currently updating the Polson Development Code (PDC). The PDC contains the zoning and land development regulations for the City and the unincorporated areas surrounding the City limits.

Polson is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation in a natural amphitheater at the south end of Flathead Lake.
